Relapse Is Not the End: Getting Back Up After Falling

If you've relapsed, I need you to hear something: you have NOT failed. You've had a setback. There's a difference.

Proverbs 24:16 says, 'For though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again.' Notice — it doesn't say IF they fall. It says THOUGH they fall. Falling is part of the journey. Getting back up is what defines you.

Relapse doesn't erase your progress. Every day of sobriety mattered. Every prayer counted. Every choice to resist was a victory. One setback doesn't undo all of that.

What matters now is what you do next. Call your mentor. Submit a prayer request. Walk into a meeting. Pick up your Bible. God's mercies are new every morning — including this morning.
