    Our Story

The Mulligan Mission was born from a simple but powerful truth: everyone deserves a second chance. Founded by Grant and Caleb Billings, this ministry began with a shared passion for golf and an even deeper passion for the gospel of Jesus Christ.

After witnessing the devastating effects of addiction in their own community — friends lost to alcohol, family members trapped by prescription drugs, loved ones consumed by gambling — Grant and Caleb felt God calling them to act. Not with judgment, but with grace. Not with programs alone, but with the transforming power of the gospel.

They realized that golf — a sport built on integrity, patience, and the concept of the "mulligan" — was the perfect metaphor for God's grace. On the golf course, a mulligan gives you a second shot when you've made a mistake. In life, God offers the ultimate mulligan through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ: complete forgiveness, a fresh start, and a new identity.

    A Nationwide Ministry

The Mulligan Mission is not a local church program or a regional initiative. It is a nationwide movement dedicated to reaching men and women in all 50 states who are struggling with addiction. From small towns in the heartland to major cities on the coasts, our mission is the same: share the love of Christ and offer hope to those who feel hopeless.

Through golf fellowship events, one-on-one mentorship, recovery resources, and prayer support, we walk alongside people on their journey from addiction to freedom. We believe that no one is beyond the reach of God's love, and no addiction is too powerful for His grace.
