The First Step Is the Hardest — Starting Your Recovery Journey

The first step is always the hardest. Admitting you have a problem. Picking up the phone. Walking through the door. Saying the words out loud: 'I need help.'

But here's what I want you to know: that first step is also the most important step you'll ever take. It's the step that changes everything. It's the step that leads to freedom.

You don't need to be ready. You don't need to have a plan. You don't need to be strong enough. You just need to be willing to try. God will meet you where you are.

Submit a prayer request. Call a friend. Reach out to The Mulligan Mission. Just take that first step. We'll walk with you from there.
