    Lamentations 3:22-23 — New Mercies Every Morning for the Recovering Addict

    'Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.' — Lamentations 3:22-23

    For someone in recovery, this verse is a lifeline. It means that no matter what happened yesterday — whether you fell, failed, struggled, or stumbled — today is new. God's mercy resets every single morning.

    You don't have to carry yesterday's guilt into today. You don't have to earn today's grace. It's already there, waiting for you, as faithful as the sunrise.

    Recovery is a daily journey. And every day, you wake up to fresh mercies from a faithful God.
