Recovery for Couples
Addiction puts immense strain on marriages and relationships. Trust is broken, communication fails, and intimacy suffers. But God is in the business of restoration — of individuals AND relationships.
Unique Challenges
When one partner struggles with addiction, both partners suffer. The non-addicted spouse may develop codependent patterns, while the addicted partner deals with shame and secrecy. The relationship becomes centered on the addiction rather than on God and each other.
How We Help
We encourage couples to pursue recovery together — individually and as a team. Our mentorship program can connect couples with married mentors who have navigated addiction recovery in their own marriage.
Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.
Take the First Step
Your marriage is worth fighting for. God can restore what addiction has broken.
